Supporting a Student with Bags of Character

For Stewart, vacuum Forming was the must have accessory for innovative fashion design. “Formech has allowed me to explore and develop accessories which I did not initially think would be possible during my BA degree. I have been really happy with the results so far and I’m excited to see what else I can make with Formech” - Stewart Wildgoose

Stewart Wildgoose is a Fashion Design with Marketing student, at London’s Central Saint Martins.

Inspired by the works of L.S. Lowry and his seemingly lesser known fascination with the naked human form, Stewart has been developing a range of bags and luggage items. Evocative and thought provoking by design, they challenge contemporary design as well as our existing perceptions of Lowry himself.

Impressed by Stewarts passion and creativity, Inspire was able to offer him support in prototyping and developing his ideas. This has included advice on mould making and exploring materials, as well as providing access to larger format vacuum forming machines and the practical guidance of engineers in our UK office. We are supporting Stewart from his initial concepts through to final delivery of his bag range, which he will exhibit in a fashion show.
